Cindy Conklin and Bob Merbler live in Federal Hill with their two children, Tyler and Casey. They have lived in Federal Hill for the past three decades, and know the neighborhood, its people, and above all, its real estate market. Bob has over 30 years of real estate experience, and has a Masters Degree in Real Estate from American University. He worked for The Prudential Insurance Company in Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia for twelve years in Mortgage Lending, Property Management, and Development. Subsequently, he became a partner in a Howard County real estate development firm specializing in commercial and retail real estate development.
In 1995, Bob joined OConor, Piper & Flynn, where in addition to being heavily involved in the sales effort, he took primary responsibility as a liaison with builders in the contract-to-settlement process. In 1997, Bob & Cindy joined Yerman, Witman, Gaines & Conklin Realty and the Strata Group as partners. Bob has lived in Federal Hill since the 70s and was involved with early renovations in the neighborhood. He is committed to City living and has a strong understanding of real estate marketing and development.
